Dr. John Zimmerman founded the Electrophysiology Department at Hackensack University Medical Center in 1989.

Dr. Zimmerman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and performs ablations for atrial fibrillation as well as other common arrhythmias. He also has expertise in implanting pacemakers and defibrillators and was the first person in the United States to implant a Medtronic cardiac resynchronization defibrillator for the treatment of congestive heart failure.

Dr. Zimmerman graduated from Cornell University and received his medical training at New York Medical College. He completed his Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Michigan and continued his training in Electrophysiology, completing his fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Zimmerman implemented one of the first programs in the country to supply and train first responders in the use of Automatic External Defibrillators. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball and tennis. He plans on running in the NY Marathon this year. 


Dr. Radoslovich

Glauco Radoslovich, M.D.

Dr. Glauco Radoslovich joined the Electrophysiology Department at Hackensack University Medical Center in 1992.

Dr. Radoslovich is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
He specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and performs ablations for atrial fibrillation as well as other common arrhythmias. He also has expertise in implanting pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices.

Dr. Radoslovich graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Peters College. He received his medical degree at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, graduating with honors. Dr. Radoslovich continued his training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City where he completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as his Cardiovascular and Clinical Electrophysiology fellowships.

Dr. Radoslovich is an accomplished musician and has a license in mixology. Dr. Radoslovich loves spending time with his children.
 

Dr. Glotzer

Taya Glotzer, M.D.

Dr. Taya Glotzer joined the Electrophysiology Department at Hackensack University Medical Center in 1995.

Dr. Glotzer is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. She specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and performs ablations for atrial fibrillation as well as other common arrhythmias. She also has expertise in implanting pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices. She is an expert in the field of implanted device detection of atrial arrhythmias and their clinical significance and has published several articles about this topic.

Dr. Glotzer graduated from Wesleyan University. She received her medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Glotzer continued her training at the New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, where she completed her Internal Medicine residency as well as her Cardiovascular and Clinical Electrophysiology fellowships.

Dr. Glotzer is an avid runner and accomplished tennis player. Dr. Glotzer loves spending time with her family.
 

Dr. Shukula

Gunjan Shukla, M.D.

Dr. Gunjan Shukla joined the Electrophysiology Department at Hackensack University Medical Center in 2006.

Dr. Shukla is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and performs ablations for atrial fibrillation as well as other common arrhythmias. He also has expertise in implanting pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices.

Dr. Shukla received his medical degree at the Civil Hospital Medical Center of Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, India. He completed his Cardiovascular Fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston, Tufts University School of Medicine. He then continued his training in Electrophysiology, completing his fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Shukla is an avid Cricket aficionado. Dr. Shukla loves spending time with his family and two young sons.
